With this new vehicle, Kobus Partners confirms its position as reference manager in the sector, with assets under management of institutional and private investment in excess of 500 million euros through its vehicles: Kobus Renewable Energy I, II, III y IV, y Mapfre Energías Renovables I.
First investment in 3 wind projects in operation
Mapfre Energias Renovables I has completed its first investment with the acquisition of 3 wind projects in operation in Spain. The projects which are located in Malaga and Sevilla are capable to provide green energy equivalent to the consumption of 20,000 houses per year and avoid 40,000 tons of CO2 emissions to the atmosphere.
For the closing of this fund the team counted with the legal advisory of King & Wood Mallesons and Blue Tree AM as technical advisor.
This first transaction is included within the fund’s strategy, which aims to achieve operational capacity of 1,000 MW in the coming years.
